This is a great lead bullet cartridge.  

You will absolutely need a case mouth expander die for ALL bottle neck cartridges.

 

We like the Lyman M-die 30 cal Short. We don't recommend using this bullet in larger 30 caliber cartridges like 308 WIN and 30-06. This bullet is too lightweight for those cartridges and will not create enough back pressure to work properly. We're working on some heavier 30 caliber bullets for those cartridges.
