40-65 Winchester & Marlin

When examining the old 40 cal. cartridges it becomes obvious of the competition between Marlin, Winchester, Remington, Ballard, Maynard, and Sharps.  Old diameters range from .403"-.417"  Single shots were different from lever guns.   .408" seems to work best for this bullet intended for lever guns.  Our 400 gr. is intended for single shots.
